An opportunity to become an integral member of the Business School s Admissions team, responsible for selecting and converting high calibre students from the UK and overseas for our portfolio of world class programmes. To deliver operationally excellent processes and provide a high level of customer service to applicants at every stage of the application process THE ROLE: Receiving and checking application forms, ensuring the completeness of data and following up on any incomplete applications with the candidates Assessing candidates academic qualifications and advising the student selection committee on the equivalency of international degrees Making initial decisions on candidates suitability for their chosen programme in line with Business School eligibility criteria and agreed target cohort profiles Updating candidates records throughout the application process using the College s Admissions System Informing candidates of their application outcomes and liaising with Registry regarding the details of formal offers of admission Liaising with the Educational Technology Unit and ICT to arrange Hub access for new students throughout the summer Developing efficient and customer-focused admissions procedures Liaising with the Admissions Manager(s) and academic staff on the selection of students for the School s academic scholarships Upholding the School s admissions policies consistently and fairly across all applications Preparing statistical reports on application numbers and trends To keep abreast of the undergraduate market to benchmark the programme against key competitors in terms of tuition fees, class sizes and programme content Testing and providing feedback on admissions systems developments Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from applicants, by email, telephone and in person Advising applicants on all aspects of the admissions process, the suitability of their qualifications, and programme details Building and maintaining relationships with applicants Updating, maintaining and developing standard admissions correspondence Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Coordinating email campaigns to specific groups of applicants Creating and circulating online surveys to collect data from applicants and students to inform the School s admissions, recruitment and marketing strategies THE ESSENTIALS: Degree educated Experience of providing a responsive, customer-focused service on the telephone, via electronic medium or face-to-face Meticulous and very well-structured administrative skills If you feel that you fit the above criteria then please apply today by submitting your CV to us.
