The Company Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be working with one of our longest standing customers in the recruitment of 2 client managers. The role of client manager will be to work with a portfolio of complex and varied business and assist them in the production of their end of year accounts. The roles have been newly created due to a significant increase in business demand. The successful applicants will be office based 3 days per week and report into once of the firms directors. Whilst you will not be managing staff directly, we are seeking an individual who can supervise/work with the outsourcing teams to facilitate the bookkeeping function. The Responsibilities The purpose of these roles is to be the outsourced accountant for a number of businesses which will form a portfolio. You will be working closely with other areas of the business such as tax, payroll and outsourcing to ensure you portfolio is managed and the accounts are produced and submitted in line with agreed timetables. On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Consolidation of client expenditure and ensuring bookkeeping tasks are completed monthly/quarterly. Production of year end statutory accounts for review by client and responsibility for the subsequent submission to relevant statutory bodies. Maintain client schedules throughout the year ensuring that accruals are correctly reflected in client accounts. Work closely with your portfolio of clients providing them with expert advice on financial matters as well as providing business advisory support generally. Grow the portfolio of clients by providing outstanding customer services and support. The Requirements To be successful you will be an accountant currently working within a practice environment (or last role was in practice). You will be an ACCA, CA, ACA or CIMA qualified accountant and have significant experience of compiling sets of accounts for a range of external customers. Successful applicants will need to be based in the UK with the relevant right to work in the country as well as having experience within the UK also. The role will be client interfacing and will require face to face interaction. As such we are looking to hire individuals who have the desire and enthusiasm to meet customers. Excellent communication skills are paramount as is the ability to focus on attention to detail.
