A quick look at the role The Corporate Account Director develops existing and builds new senior stakeholder contacts and is responsible for the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients. The role will cover financial performance, strategic growth and development, contractual negotiations, compliance, customer satisfaction and retention plus execution of strategic account plans. Retention of corporate clients, through positive relationships and growth of service provision to ensure the achievement of budgeted revenue for the full year. This will involve managing the tender and / or benchmarking (preparation, editing and delivery) and Response for Information (RFI) processes for clients and identifying new development opportunities to deliver profitable growth Lead and manage activities of direct reports to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver solutions and excellent service to the client. Key responsibilities being contractual performance management and personal development with the ability to lead the team to achieve the required standards Demonstrable experience as a senior and visionary individual through thought leadership and innovation Strategically align Biffa's business to deliver strategic business account plans, contractual and client requirements to enable future-proofing Proficient engagement at all levels to enable negotiation, influencing and communication both internally and externally to deliver long term benefit to all parties Possess a high level of sector expertise and understanding to subsequently identify new business development opportunities within a client's business for Biffa to add value to the relationship Commercially focused in terms of analysing and forecasting the success of existing and additional business proposals for Corporate clients. Understanding and applying commercial and financial principles with regards to issues in terms of costs, profits, markets and added value Defining and developing joint strategies to underpin the client's CSR objectivesRequirements Previous experience in a large scale account management environment Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels Confident with all Microsoft applications including advanced Excel skills Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise Analytical and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively Solid pragmatic approach to delivering to tight deadlines and targetsBenefits And here's why you'll love it at Biffa.
