As a creative marketing communications and advertising agency, they work with brands across the health, B2B and B2C sectors. Purpose of the Healthcare Communications Strategist role: Research, develop and deliver strategic insight and approach to pharmaceutical, animal health and healthcare projects as their Healthcare Communications Strategist Subject matter expert in ABPI regulated pharmaceutical marketing. Capability to work across a wider range of B2B and B2C client projects as their Healthcare Communications Strategist Define strategy and rationale, marketing proposition, mechanics, journey and key stakeholder messaging. Design and undertake proprietary qualitative and quantitative research to discover audience insights and clinic approaches as their Healthcare Communications Strategist Brand discovery and brand strategy development Responsible for writing/reviewing the creative brief, and distilling key insights that direct the creative development through a single-minded proposition. Responsible for designing the communication strategy, campaign planning and content plans as their Healthcare Communications Strategist Ensure that outcomes and objectives are defined, measurable and reported Development of pitch narrative with wider pitch team and playing a leading role in pitch proposals and delivery as their Healthcare Communications Strategist Key Responsibilities as their Healthcare Communications Strategist: Define specific business and marketing challenge with client. Understand therapy / product / service proposition often scientific / technical. Undertake market planning and market structural analyses. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the context of a marketing challenge by analysing and distilling a range of different information, including researching audiences, understanding their behaviours and motivations, the market context; competitive landscape, product proposition and key differentiators. Research and identify key audience insights, motivations and behaviours. Design, commission and undertake research to inform advertising and marketing strategies, using both qualitative methods, such as focus groups and structured interviews, and quantitative methods, such as surveys. Make strategic recommendations, share insights and solutions that will meet the business and marketing objective. Provide the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy. Ensure approach recommended meets appropriate regulatory requirements e.g. ABPI / CAP code. Define performance metrics, and analyse and interpret results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the activity against agreed objectives. Develop content and facilitate strategic workshops in partnership with client services and creative teams. Keep up-to-date with market trends, technology and techniques. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other functional teams within this company, such as Media, Creative and Client services. Knowledge, Skills & Experience as their Healthcare Communications Strategist: Effective and confident communicator Intelligent and analytical thinker Ability to assimilate and evaluate a wide range of data Familiar and conversant with regulatory codes especially ABPI Broad appreciation of different marketing techniques especially digital / social landscape Some experience in healthcare planning / strategic marketing role Good experience in marketing / planning experience agency-side (preferred) or client-side Graduate / graduate calibre Inquisitive Personable What else is in it for you?
