Early Talent Rotational Programs at Takeda offer college graduates the unique opportunity to experience rotations focusing on personal development, mentorship, networking, leadership, and technical skill-building. Early Talent Program members begin their Takeda careers in a supportive, structured environment that encourages self-directed learning and promotes accelerated growth. Upon successful completion of all rotations, a senior leader will guide the graduate to identify the next steps in their Takeda career.
The Operations Development Program (ODP) is a 27-month rotational program that provides valuable experiences across Takeda's Global Manufacturing & Supply and Global Quality (GMSGQ) function. This rotational program comprises three nine-month rotations in multiple US locations (MA, GA, CA, MN, and IL). You will be assigned an Executive Program Mentor and Peer Rotation Mentors during the program to help introduce you to Takeda's culture, the values, and goals of the program.
Through formal training and on-the-job experiences, the program is committed to developing your technical, leadership, and teamwork skills while exposing you to Takeda's technologies, products, and global markets.
You will attend an annual Summit event with all rotational program members across Takeda's programs for collaboration, development, and networking.
Rotations are assigned based on business needs and matched with your skills and development goals. Assignments are designed to challenge you to adapt and contribute to each position. You will learn and understand several aspects of their rotational assignment quickly.
The Rotations can be specific to site-based or globally focused operations, such as Network Strategy, Business Excellence, and Product Operations. Below are a few examples of rotational options where you will learn:

Supply Chain - distribution, purchasing, warehouse operations, and planning within a manufacturing environment.
Project Management - all aspects of project management as it applies to project execution on important facility project(s). The areas in which ODP Associates will run the project(s) will include but not be limited to Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, and Information Systems.
Product Operations - support team in translating commercial and portfolio/product strategy into manufacturing operation's strategy. This would include future capacity requirements and market expansion focus. Gain understanding and exposure to a global environment by supporting multiple aspects of commercial products. (e.g., product strategy plan, brand plan, long-range forecast, developing and presenting business cases to governance bodies, program risk register, and more).
Network Strategy - managing and maintaining the long-range production capacity planning, database modeling, working cross-functionally to update the model with the latest process information, developing scenarios to understand investment prioritization for Global Manufacturing Supply, and improving visualization for data modeling.
