Master s Degree in Mathematics or related field, or
Master s Degree in Public Health or related field, or
Master s Degree in Biostatistics or related field.
Typically requires 4 years of experience in statistics or biostatistics in academic, industry, or healthcare setting.
Experience with publications as co~author or lead author and grant submissions as co~investigator.
Expert with statistical software (R, SAS, STATA, or SPSS).
Excellent in data management, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets.
Excellent experience in providing consultations with scientists and investigators.
Proficient with MS~Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relational databases (e.g., REDCap)
Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex projects. Customer service orientation.
Experience with electronic health records and other data collection databases.

Conducts complex analyses using advanced statistical methods for system~wide projects. Comfortable with large data sets and is an expert in statistical software and in analyses using both classical and more complex statistical methods. Independently provides statistical consultation and serves as a resource across Advocate Aurora Health, advising scientists and investigators on study design, sample size estimation, planning and executing statistical analyses, and interpreting and communicating results for presentations and publications. Adept in communicating complex analyses, results and interpretation to scientists, as well as clinical and administrative stakeholders. The Research Biostatistician mentors more junior staff scientists and actively contributes to AARI and AAH committees, initiatives, high profile projects, grant submissions, presentations and publications.
